Dear Colleagues,
Harvard Business School recently published, Immunity to Change, coauthored by Robert Kegan and Lisa Laskow Lahey. The authors focus on the obstacles that halt change. I quote, “A recent study showed that when doctors tell heart patients they will die if they don’t change their habits, only 1 in 7 will be able to follow through successfully. Desire and motivation aren’t enough; even when it’s literally a matter of life or death, the ability to change remains maddingly elusive.” End of quote.
